   Alpacas

The welcoming committee has gathered at the gate to show you around their pastures.  Before they do, here is some information about them and the rest of our herd.

Our growing Alpaca herd contains Suris and Huacayas. We are breeding for excellence of conformation, health, color and fineness of fiber. Presently our herd consists of 28 huacaya and 17 suri alpacas. Our huacayas range in color from black, through shades of grey to cinnamon and mahogany, while the suris are white, fawn , honey gold, cinnamon and mahogany, truly a glorious sight.

The Huacayas as  seen on the left  have a finely crimped lock structure. Suris, on the right have lustrous silky locks.  To learn more about huacayas and suris click on the pictures.
