At The Fuchsia Fleece we raise our own alpaca fiber from our herd of huacayas, the fuzzy ones, and suris with the fringed locks.
The fiber is carefully cleaned and washed before it is handspun, in its natural color. It is then turned into original, soft and warm hand knitted and hand woven articles to wear or add to your home decor.
Our soft, fine, warm alpaca fiber is available in many forms, straight from the animal, washed, washed and picked and rewashed, carded into rovings that are packaged as approximately 1 ounce hanks and as yarn.
